Healing is the best method to overcome adversity. It is your way of saying “I am taking my future back”. We are a product of our experiences, yet they should not determine our trajectory. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Supervisor (LCSW-S) in Texas and Florida, certified in Traumatology, EMDR, TF-CBT, CISM, Play Therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy with over 25 years of experience. I utilize a person-centered approach facilitating an individual’s introspection in identifying the thoughts fueling emotions and how it influences our behavioral and physiological reactions.
I have vast experience working with youth and adults addressing issues related to trauma, foster care, adoption, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, grief and loss and life circumstantial changes. I come from a First Responder family, and have worked within this population. I understand this life view is unique.
