Do not book with him. After my first appointment I was prescribed a medication but, when I called his office (because Walgreens said they didn’t have it) I got no response. During the next appointment, when I told him how the office never got back to me, he said to always text the number instead of calling if I have an issue (because the receptionist was still working out some issues). He also promised to put my medication in the system after the second appointment. When I went to see if the prescription was ready a few days later, they said he had only put one singular pill into the system. When I texted the office number I got no response. The unprofessionalism I was shown is why you should never book with them. I was in a crisis state with my mental health yet I was disregarded and not given the medication I needed to feel better.

I found James very easy to talk to and I felt heard and seen throughout the whole appointment. James spoke to me with compassion and empathy which went a long way for me. I was warned that psychiatrists can sometimes come off as cold and calculating, but I did not get that impression with James. I am looking forward to continuing our work together.

ADHD has been crippling for my executive function my entire life. Most psychiatrists downplay it in comparison to my other conditions. This has led me to be over sedated for years. Dr James genuinely took my input into consideration of what i’m looking for in a medicine, finding a safe middle ground for me. Im looking forward to future appointments.

I was nervous as this was my first time seeing someone in the Psychiatric field. Due to some unfortunate circumstances I was unable to get into contact at the appointment time, but James made a great effort to meet with me on the same day and I am grateful for his diligence and commitment. He listened to everything I had to say and explained everything very well whenever I had a question. Fantastic bedside manner and a great healthcare professional. Highly recommend.
