I live in Knoxville TN but I come to Poway on business 6 to 15 times a year since 2011. I had a problem with a root canal in 2019 and came to Dr Tran. He did an excellent job on me. Today I had a filling falling out and I came to this outstanding doctor again. His performance was impressive again, I have no words. Great doctor!

Best dentist I've been to.
I moved to SD, and finding a good dentist was important to me because of my recent dental problems. At my old dentist, I had such a painful experience. I'd never been afraid of going to the dentist before, and ever since that experience, I dread going.
At Dr. Tran's office, they provided much better care. I told them I was afraid of needles and pain, and then Dr. Tran took extra care to numb me slowly so I wouldn't feel any pain. I was surprised that the cavity filling could be so painless!
Dr. Tran also asked me if my old dentist had told me why I needed deep cleanings, and I realized no. I was only told that my gums kept bleeding, so I assumed I just needed more cleaning. Turns out, I have gum disease (periodontitis) and I'll have to get cleanings every 3 months to manage it. I'm upset that my old dentist kept me in the dark, but grateful that Dr. Tran kept me informed. I hope I never have to switch dentists again because Dr. Tran has been so great.

This has to be one of the most Calming experiences after being completely stressed out with the pain of an inflamed tooth with an infection in my upper jaw. I was welcomed even before I walked in through the front door. The staff called me and was kind and warm. They even moved around my 2 PM scheduled to a 9:30 AM schedule. Everybody was wonderful and they took such wonderful care of me. I received a root canal, and Dr. Tran is my new best friend

Dr. Tran and his staff were amazing! It was my first time there, but they all made me feel like I have been a patient for 10 years. Dr. Tran is great. He extracted two teeth so quickly and efficiently I didn't even realize it when he finished! My best dental experience in years.

Thankful to have found Dr. Tran! I was in extreme pain and needed an urgent care. Before performing an emergency wisdom teeth extraction, Dr. Tan explained the charges first. He was very efficient! We are out of the clinic in a couple of hours. Everyone in the clinic were very helpful, especially Ester. Thank you for taking care of me.

The staff was very friendly and greeted me with a lot of conversation starter questions. They made sure to be very thorough in making sure I as the patient knew exactly what was going on and why. They were able to provide different ways to show me what was going on and demonstrated ways to improve techniques. I was impressed with their latest technology, best I have ever seen. They even showed a video to me about an issue I was having and what can happen if untreated. They focus on keeping their patients educated. I would 100% go back however I am moving across the country in a couple months.

Amazing. Have been going to the same doctor for the last 15 years. Came here today because my dentist was closed because of the pandemic. Professional, friendly, and did a better job cleaning my teeth then ever had before. Lasers, electronic tools and traditional tools all combined for a super clean and satisfying experience. Will come back for sure

My appointment went great. I love going to a dentist office that has all of the latest technology. Dr. Tran walked me through everything that was going to happen on an iPad so that I fully understood the procedure. In addition, he completed all of the work in two working days, which was greatly appreciated and made me feel like he valued my time. Thank you, Dr. Tran, I will be back soon!!!

It didn't seem like Dr. Tran was very straight forward about the necessity of his recommended treatments. My wife and I went with insurance for first time X-rays, cleanings, and a couple cavity fillings but still paid out our ears. It was only after close examination of the bill afterwards and some Google searching that we found lots of little non-covered "extras" were added onto what should have been free or mostly preventative services (for instance, laser cleaning, which had a steep per tooth fee). During the visit, we were made to feel like these were critical and thus felt pressured to just go through with it.
It would have been nice if Dr. Tran had instead started with a standard and fully or mostly covered treatment and encouraged us to come in after a couple weeks to see if uncovered extra treatments were actually necessary. But as it was, it just seemed like we were scared into buying the most expensive treatment as soon as possible, even if meant signing up for financing. We won't be going back.

I HATE going to the dentist and tend to put it off because of my fear, which leads to more dental work needing to be done. Finally, I found Dr. Tran in Poway. Every wonderful thing that I read about this facility was true!! He and his staff spent a tremendous amount of time trying to correct my many years of poor care. I cannot adequetely express my gratitude to Dr. Tran and his team. I still have more dental work to be done, but I have the utmost trust in Dr. Tran. I highly recommend this dental office.
