Amazing is an understatement! I have an autoimmune disorder that affects my joints. I haven't moved my body in years, and I was terrified of the pain that would come from doing so. Nonetheless, I pushed myself this year to reach out and get help to get control of my life again. I have had some horrible interactions with several physical therapists who believe the motto 'pain is good.' This motto doesn't work for every patient, and certainly not me. My first appointment with Manisha was an evaluation and some introductions to stretches. She took the time to really listen to my concerns, and goals for my future. She motivated me from the very beginning, "We have a lot of work to do, but we can do it." The staff are amazing, friendly, and funny. The office is a clean space, and everyone wears a mask appropriately. I was sore but not in a bad way, for the first time I slept that night through the whole night! I look forward to my appointments and that's saying something.

I was suffering from severe headache from past 1 year which interfered in my daily activities. I was even getting facial swelling. I saw 6 doctors before seeing Dr. Manisha & was prescribed lots of medications, but nothing helped. Dr. Manisha did dry needling for my migraines which helped me a lot. I highly recommend her.

When I came to see Dr. Mendonca at ACE PTSMI, I wasn't walking normally, felt my pelvis/L hip was off balance and certainly couldn't run like I had been doing. Dr. Manisha and her staff welcome everyone like a family. We started working together for pain relief, improving my hip range and to get back to the strength I had lost. In few weeks of attending therapy with Dr. Mendonca my pain was 80% better, L hip joint regained full range and I emerge stronger and happier. I was able to resume with Pilates classes and started running again. I ever need PT again, I will certainly return to Dr. Mendonca at ACE PTSMI.

I was diagnosed of having jaw pain and neck pain. I could not open my mouth fully, had trouble eating food, chewing things etc. Headaches were debilitating. I had trouble finding a therapist who works with TMJ pain/issues. My PCP suggested Dr. Mendonca's name. I could tell right away that Dr. Mendonca is very passionate about her work, took enough time to listen to me and understand my problems every visit. She has very positive attitude, full of energy.
