Hello, I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 20 years. I provide medication management and brief therapy for ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar, Psychotic Disorders, and Substance Abuse. I treat all ages with a 50/50 split between Children and Adult Experience. I am an advocate for ADHD treatment for adults if needed, I believe in safe prescribing of all controlled substances and do not limit treatment options if FDA approved. I am very experienced in treating mood and behavioral disorders in children but do believe that medication has limitations. I occasionally see people in person but 95% of my practice is virtual. I offer appointments 6-7 days a week with afterwork/afterschool times available most days.

I Do NOT recommend! I don't post reviews but I was compelled to after the negative way I was treated. I'm a new patient and was nervous for my 1st appt. From the start, I was treated very rudely by Roy Evans. He cut me off continuously & was very dismissive. My appointment was Telemed/Online via ZocDoc. I told him how I was feeling so we could reset. Instead, he said a mean "I don't need this BYEEEE!" I was shocked that he cut me off and abruptly ended my appointment after only a few minutes! He obviously hates his job as a Mental Health provider. I'M SO DISSAPOINTED:(

It’s been life long journey for the Mental Health Care that I deserve as a human being and not a number or a price tag. Specifically 2 years of chronic mismanagement and just 5 minutes into my first appointment I knew I was in the right place. I was heard, validated and understood. I was given options and explanation. I was comforted about points I hadn’t even had an opportunity to mention yet with things like “ is this a high dosage” or “ is this symptom pay off worth the reward” with explanation to follow. THIS FITS MY NEED TO KNOW PERSONALITY TO A T. I also feel like care is within reach, where with past providers, especially if outside 9a-3p, I couldn’t even leave a message to be returned let alone reach perhaps an on call nurse. My experience now has been same day response FROM MY PROVIDER, woohoo! 10/10 highly recommend.

This psych NP listened to every word I said and actually made the effort to speak to me about my diagnoses and how to treat them. I highly highly recommend speaking to Roy Evan’s NP. I genuinely can’t tell you how grateful and thankful I feel for having found a psych that actually listens to my concerns/speaks with me about how to treat/handle them. Rude right off the bat. Did not listen or ask any initial intake questions. Didn’t try to get to know me at all. Told me recheck appointments are a waste of money compared to new clients so they’d rather see them before recheck appointments. Did not fit well together. At all.
