Dr. Jenny Mejia Spicer is a third-generation chiropractor, proudly born in Illinois and a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. She is passionate about educating and empowering her patients to understand the root cause of their health concerns, helping them achieve lasting wellness through personalized chiropractic care.
With extensive continuing education in injury rehabilitation, Dr. Spicer treats a wide range of conditions affecting the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. She helps patients struggling with headaches, migraines, neck and back pain, sciatica, shoulder and hip pain, and discomfort related to poor posture or spinal misalignment. She also works with individuals suffering from disc-related issues such as herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and facet joint syndrome. Her expertise includes care for extremity issues like knee, ankle, foot, wrist, elbow, and hand pain, including common problems such as plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tennis or golfer’s elbow. Dr. Spicer also provides care for TMJ disorders, rib dysfunction, and numbness or tingling caused by pinched nerves or nerve compression.
She treats conditions resulting from whiplash, auto accidents, slip and falls, sports injuries, and workplace incidents, as well as chronic muscular tension and stress. Pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain, pediatric concerns like torticollis, colic, and balance or coordination challenges are also addressed through her family-friendly approach to care.
Dr. Spicer uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Activator Methods, Flexion Distraction, and the Palmer Package. She performs adjustments both manually and with the Activator instrument, utilizing advanced equipment such as a Lloyd Hylo Table with drop sections and a lumbar flexion distraction table to ensure safe and effective care.
