Dr. Mike Orefice, owner of Active Health in Milford has been serving patients in the surrounding community for 15 years. Dr. Mandy (Lock) Nemeth joined the Active Health team in 2019, and together, they are dedicated to helping their patients decrease pain, restore mobility, and return to an active lifestyle following musculoskeletal injury. Whether you may be experiencing daily muscle aches and pains, or sustained an injury from being a weekend warrior, or collegiate or professional athlete, at Active Health we evaluate and treat your presenting condition and apply the most appropriate treatment for your injury. In order to provide the most effective care possible, we offer a variety of modalities, including chiropractic manual therapy, medical acupuncture, myofascial release therapy, spinal decompression, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. We treat conditions from head to toe, from tension headaches to plantar fasciitis and are not limited to only spinal conditions. We look forward to helping you get back to your active lifestyle!

The staff was great, there was a little hiccup with my insurance and they said not to worry we'll call and get the bottom of it. I would tell my family and friends to try this office if they ever thought of using a chiropractor. I am going back for more visits with Dr. Mike. Because this was my first visit, I only expected to be seen and examined. I was so happy and surprised that Dr. Mike did acupuncture as well as therapy on me. Being a new patient I couldn't believe I got a first appointment that fast. My overall visit with office, staff and Dr. Mike was exceptional. Great experience! Only thing I was not prepared for was how quick the visit was. I only saw the doctor for maybe 10-15 minutes before he was up and out very quickly. I guess I was assuming he would stay a little longer with me and evaluate my entire body but he really only focused on one part for a short time. Other than that, he was super nice and communicated all his plans and thoughts and the office was very clean and friendly.

Dr Mike took ample time to explain the issue I was having with my elbow and the best methods/approach to try resolve the issue. He is one of the only doctors in the area that does shock wave treatment. I am looking forward to going back, my arm feels a little better after only one treatment.
