During the coronavirus pandemic, she has worked frequently with individuals who suffer from long covid and grief. She graduated with her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration on LGBTQIA+ populations from New York University, where she also attained her Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certification. She earned a postgraduate certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.
