She went back to school to complete a Masters degree at Stony Brook University. She worked on postpartum units , community health nursing and various outpatient OBGYN offices. She taught undergraduate and graduate nursing students at Emory University as well as medical students in private practice. After working in private practice, she went back to school to complete her doctorate in nursing practice as well as a Post -doctoral Teaching Fellowship with Emory Woodruff Health Sciences Center. Her clinical interests include prenatal care, nutrition in pregnancy and lactation. She is passionate about helping women during most precious times in their lives. She takes time to listen to each patient. When not seeing patients, she spends time with her family and loves to travel and meet new people and experience different cultures.
