I switched to this practice from Axia Oceanside, which I'd describe as the Hair Cuttery of ob/gyn practices---a different doc at each visit, no personal attention (and they spend about 5 mins with you), no personal follow-up. They failed to diagnose my problem twice, putting me through duplicate lab tests and never calling to explain results. My experience with Dr. Carfagno was like night and day. He spent about 20 minutes with me, doing an in-office test, explaining the results thoroughly, asking if I had any questions, and giving me a lot of info about the postmenopausal condition that I had never heard before. His office staff is very nice as well. My only caveat is that you'll wait a long time in his office; I sat on the examination table for about 40 minutes before he came in. But it's worth the wait---just be forewarned and bring something to read.

I would definitely go back. The doctor is very personable, knowledgeable , and a good listener. I really don’t know how he would ever get a bad review ! I’m 74 year old and he truly is the best I ever had , and extremely friendly .
