The staff and Dr. Halihan were very friendly, and actively let me know that their goal was to address my concerns, and work towards a treatment plan that was both covered by insurance, and would help me to feel 100% again. I felt heard, I felt fully informed in the options available to me, and all of my questions were answered thoughtfully and empathetically.

This office is great, from the friendly staff up front, them taking X-rays, and getting you in asap. Then there is wonderful Dr. Halihan... He is very helpful, healed my pain, and made me feel that he genuinely cared about my issues. Not to mention he is friendly and very hospitable.

Dr Hallihan is a very talented foot surgeon, he has performed a complicated surgery on 11/5/2024 to my Big Toe joint (rebuilding it ) , and after 30 days it is healing perfectly without complications. My wife also had neuroma foot surgery, 2 yrs ago on her foot, and it has been an excellent outcome.
If you are looking for the best foot surgeon in Northern Illinois... look no further...my wife and I both highly recommend, Dr. Halahan , he is knowledgably, caring, and professional... he is the right /foot Doctor for you.

The Dr. took the time to explain things clearly and what I would need to do after looking at xrays. He was very thorough.

X-rays were taken right away. Dr Krouse came in shortly after and discussed the results. We chose trying therapy involving just an injection first and checking how things went with a followup appointment in 2 weeks. There was relief almost immediately, no swelling or issues walking.
