The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly recommends immunizations as the safest and most cost-effective way of preventing disease, disability and death. The AAP calls for the on-time, routine immunization of all children and adolescents according to its policy and we here at Advocare Sussex County Pediatrics follow these recommendations. We are NOT an anti-vaccination practice.
Advocare Sussex County Pediatrics specializes in the health and medical care of children from newborns to young adults. Our practice is committed to creating an atmosphere of comfort, trust, and compassion that treats children and their families with the distinct understanding and respect they deserve.
We take pride in offering accessibility that exceeds the standards of most medical practices. Our board certified pediatricians are available 24 hours a day, and our after-hours answering service is staffed by a live operator who will put you in direct contact with one of our doctors, so you can always access personal assistance any time of the day or night.
For your convenience, Advocare Sussex County Pediatrics has an office in Newton, where you will always find a friendly staff dedicated to serving you and your child. From well visits to sick appointments, friendly greetings to scheduling appointments, helping you with insurance forms and claims, or providing you with advice, our physicians, registered nurses, and office support staff are dedicated to serving you and your child.
Our child–friendly offices are designed for your family's well–being. To keep your children in good health, our newly expanded and renovated Newton office offers separate and distinct waiting and examination rooms for well and sick children - a first for northern New Jersey.

Dr. Porter was kind, friendly and approachable. He was non judgmental and addressed his questions to my children and listened carefully to their replies. We did not have to wait long at all and we were in and out quickly.

Great first time experience! Dr.George was simply wonderful. She had excellent bedside manner from the beginning. She made my son feel comfortable and made him laugh during the exam. He was relaxed, calm and happy as she explained every single step. She was thorough and informative and we did not feel rushed in any way. I am so glad that we saw her and will continue to see her for all future visits. Special shout out to the office staff and nurses for being simply top notch!
