AEGLE is your Midtown dental home—easy to book, easy on insurance. We are in-network with Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO, Guardian PPO, and Humana PPO. We verify your benefits before any treatment. If your plan is out-of-network, we still submit your claim and accept assignment of benefits so you pay only your portion at the visit and we collect the rest directly from your insurer.
What we do for you: exams, cleanings, gum care, tooth-colored fillings, one-visit crowns when appropriate, emergency toothache care, root canals, extractions, whitening, veneers, clear aligners, post-implant crowns, and confidence-building cosmetic smile design consultations (veneers/whitening/aligners). Same/next-day appointments are often available. For same-day or next-day visits, do this within 60 minutes to hold the slot. We work with PPO plans and cannot accept Medicaid, Medicare, or HMO/DHMO/DMO dental plans. If one of those plans is booked, the visit will be self-pay or we’ll cancel to prevent surprise costs. If you need to change or cancel, please give 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee for keeping the dental facility reserved for you. When a plan has no out-of-network benefits, we will provide a written self-pay estimate before you are seated.

Dr. Dayani took the time to explain my current dental condition, octopus, listening to me, complicated dental history and making sure I got the right CAT scans done. He reviewed the CAT scans with me, and did not try to oversell me on any treatment. He kindly provided me with a referral for someone who would best be able to manage the complications I’ve been experiencing due to the work of another surgeon .? I was able to get in to see him very quickly using Zocdoc, less than 24 hours. He did not rush, and was patient with my questions.

First of all being left in the chair for over an hour before I was seen I should have walked out! The way the dentist spoke to his assistant through out the time I was there was an absolute disgrace. She may have been new but he was no help to here and spoke in an awful tone! Used my maximum insurance allowance in 2 visits also where now I am out of pocket for the rest of the year! I really regret going to this “practice “ and anyone that wishes to go here please reconsider!

Even before I showed up at the office, I knew I had chosen the right place.
Staff was in constant contact with me and advised me on how to prepare for my appointment.
When I got there, paperwork and formalities were taken care of and I saw Dr. Dayani right away.
For the next 2 hours I sat in the dentist chair and Dr. Dayani orchestrated the diagnosis and treatment like a concert maestro; effortlessly and painless.
The assisting staff were professional and charming, and I left there with a smile.

I had gone in with a terrible dental ache and a swollen face, Dr and the staff were very attentive and made extra efforts in order to make sure I was calm and my problems were addressed. Communication was great and all my questions, doubts and worries were answered patiently and in detail. What’s also great is that the Doctor is available after hours to answer any of your concerns you may have and addresses your concerns promptly and makes me aware of what the possible dental solutions are, which is the best option/route to pick, what to expect during the procedure and after. I am thankful that they made one of the most painful events of my life quite manageable and provided prompt services and were very accommodating.

I had a new patient visit and had a great visit and this is coming from someone that has a fear of going to the dentist. It took longer than expected, but that was due to a person coming in for an emergency apt. They took time to make sure my insurance covered everything and overall felt I was in good hands.

This place is very unprofessional. The nurse tried multiple times and finally gave me the correct forms to fill. They cannot even figure out what's covered in my plan or not. They also tend to cheat me to do a full x-ray exam although I was just go for a regular preventative teeth clean. I don't know whether this organization meet some problem in operation or it always do the business in this way. I'd recommend avoid this place.

Dr. Dayani's office was kind enough to squeeze me in for an urgent last-minute visit at 5PM. He is knowledgeable and correctly diagnosed the cause of my tooth pain, and even helped contact an oral surgeons office on my behalf.

I went for a very superficial cosmetic treatment -- a minor scrap on the back of my front tooth that needed a simple bonding. Instead he started scraping away at other cosmetic work I had done and said there was an underlying problem and needed X-rays, which I flatly refused. I also had a hard time understanding him through his heavy accent and he was getting angry and talked louder. I had the work done elsewhere no problem.

He seemed to be rushing it and not in a good mood that day. First doctor I saw who didn’t care to smile a little during whole visit. I can even call him a bit rude... May be just that day... I don’t know... didn’t appear too nice to the people in his office too. They told me at the end that some other doctor will be helping me and I will have to come back at a later date which they should have told me in the beginning. Overall below average experience.

Dr. Dayani and his associate Luis were able to fit me in on a Friday while I was visiting NYC during the holiday week. He’s one of the best dentists I have ever seen. They were attentive, thoughtful, made sure they understood my needs, and gave me a first rate exam and cleaning. Dr. Dayani correctly described my dental history. He was attentive to pain management (I didn’t need it, but I appreciated that). He gave very clear explanations about what was going on with my dental health.
