I absolutely recommend Dr. Lowenstein. He is knowledgeable, personable and thorough. He took the time to explain things well. Often, the rest of the crew is a good reflection of the doctor. And Dr. Lowenstein's office is great! They're friendly, efficient, helpful and kind. Who knew going to a dermatologist could be such a pleasant experience!

Experienced the worst bedside manner from this doctor.
1. Doctor unexpectedly appeared with two other assistants whom he failed to introduce--I had my shirt off.
2. Didn't ask before wanting to shake my hand...I'm not fond of physical touch with strangers and assuming otherwise is unprofessional.
3. The examination/diagnosis was done under 10 secs and he didn't even fully explain what the cyst was, why they form etc. Very pushy about me booking the minor surgery to have it removed, same day.
4. Horrifyingly, did not wait for me to get dressed before opening the door, in full view of waiting room.
There are other reviews here that have left the same feedback on the lacking bedside manner and privacy. Just appalling.

Very friendly and funny crew (shout out to Nurse Practitioner Noel - I think that was her name). They saw me immediately and Dr. L took care of my issue on the spot.

The doctors was very brief and started immediately in on the skin screen while showing limited interest in what my concerns were. He was very quick talking and I felt very rushed. The exam did not seem thorough.

As a first timer, I wasn’t assessed properly or briefed on how a proper dermatologic consult should be. I wasn’t provided a skin assessment and provided the appropriate management options according to my skin type and condition. The doctor wasn’t accommodating and did not make me feel comfortable at all. When I brought up specific skin concerns, he was not very interested in providing the best options for me, making me feel that unimportant.

I had been suffering from a horrible rash for over a month and was misdiagnosed twice. This was the third outbreak I had in two years. The moment Dr. Lowenstein saw my face, he knew immediately what it was. To finally get a diagnosis and to be treated right away was amazing! The relief I felt almost made me cry. I highly recommend Dr. Lowenstein and look forward to seeing him again! ??????????

Dr Stefan Lowenstein seemed like he was in a rush when he saw me. Maybe it was because I had a relatively minor skin complaint, but I did not feel like he spent an adequate amount of time to look at my skin more clearly, have time to address my questions/concerns, etc.
