My style can be interactive or reserved when needed. Every client has a unique and individual personality and set of circumstances and I take pride in my ability to be flexible with my approach to assist my clients in feeling comfortable, safe and respected. I also use education techniques in order to explain complex psychological theories. I find that complexities can instigate confusion and defeat and I prefer to use creative metaphors and daily jargon to help someone learn the emotional language necessary to gain insight into themselves and others. I have a direct approach in order to cut all ambiguity, confusion and passivity in a session. I find that using a direct approach offers the best use of clinical time and results in less wasted time for the client. My only goal is to assist clients in reaching their goals and resolving issues in a time sensitive way to get relief as soon as possible.
