Everything has been incredible! She has been kind and patient. I was very nervous about treatment and medication, and she went at my pace and helped me in many ways. She always hears my opinion on things. Now, I am feeling hundreds of times better, and it’s because of how she eased me into it despite my fears past experiences. Dr. Ribowsky is a caring and kind mental health provider. She truly cares about her patients and has extremely empathetic bedside manner. She is very real with her patients and allows you to be part of deciding your own treatment plan while being there to guide you. Dr. Ribowsky listens and cares. Seriously, I’ve been to countless doctors. Some just threw meds at me, which would leave me worse off. Some just told me it was all in my head. Alana Ribowsky took the time to listen. I had never had up to that point a therapist/provider actually just listen to what I had to say. I didn’t feel like I was racing against a clock, like so many out there, always just throwing medication at you. Here I finally found someone who was comfortable just talking, listening, and learning about me. I can’t begin to tell you how much she has helped me. I go to Alana for medication management and therapy, and I finally found somebody who genuinely wants to help me. Help me as I struggle through depression and anxiety, a wicked case of ADHD, and gender dysphoria. Because of Alana I’m stable, I’m growing, and I’m healing.
