If you’re nervous about seeking psychiatric care (like I was), Dr. Ribowsky is the provider to see. She balances her clinical expertise with a friendly, caring, and respectful approach. From day one, I felt completely heard and validated. She is attentive, empathetic, and very knowledgeable, as well as remarkably punctual. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

She’s been working with me to manage my medication for about two years and she also takes the time to ask about my life and holistic parts of myself that may be contributing to my stress and depression, like changes in my work life, social life, and exercise. Dr. Ribowsky listens and cares. Seriously, I’ve been to countless doctors. Some just threw meds at me, which would leave me worse off. Some just told me it was all in my head. Alana Ribowsky took the time to listen. I had never had up to that point a therapist/provider actually just listen to what I had to say. I didn’t feel like I was racing against a clock, like so many out there, always just throwing medication at you. Here I finally found someone who was comfortable just talking, listening, and learning about me. I can’t begin to tell you how much she has helped me. I go to Alana for medication management and therapy, and I finally found somebody who genuinely wants to help me. Help me as I struggle through depression and anxiety, a wicked case of ADHD, and gender dysphoria. Because of Alana I’m stable, I’m growing, and I’m healing.
