Dr Barbaro was meticulous in her questions about my physical and mental health, as well as my personal history, and in turn gave me quality feedback and direction.
Three things to keep in mind (this applies with any doctor):
1) The more honest you are, the better your care will be.
2) If you feel like there's anything important that your doctor should know, whether it's things you've specifically felt, fears with care and treatment you have, or intentions and reasons for your visit, make sure to bring them up.
3) Your doctor can help you, but it's up to you to follow through on anything they tell you to do.

I have been getting treatment for mental health related issues for over a decade. This was the first time I had been seen so promptly with a provider that was actually qualified to work with someone with multiple diagnosis. I am also a crab and never like psychiatrists, but this time was very different! I highly recommend.

After much disappointment and VERY LONG waits from other providers, we were given the information for Alay. I spoke with Olivia, who was DELIGHTFUL!! She answered my questions and scheduled an appointment for our Son for Monday. Our meeting this morning with Ann Barbaro was EXACTLY what we needed. She listened, answered our questions, was compassionate and informative and most importantly, we finished our appointment with HOPE…. and we haven’t had that in a VERY LONG time!!! Extremely nice when i contacted them, less then an hour before my appointment, I was told they had no profile for me and that they do not take my insurance. i would still recommend them due to the fact that the issue was the partner app(Zocdoc).

Chelsea was good; however, she is not a counselor but rather a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management. I scheduled this appointment for counseling and as such it was a wasted appointment for both her and I. Not her fault.
