I find that therapy is most effective when certain norms are established. Chief among these is a spirit of warmth and emotional safety for you to share your story freely and openly. As a part of the psychoanalytic tradition, I will encourage you to take the lead in our sessions, foregrounding your voice and autonomy as we collaboratively work through your pain together. As a relational therapist, I center the therapeutic relationship, encouraging us to continually fine-tune what is needed in the therapy.
