Thank you for your interest in the practice. Let's see if we would be a good fit for you... Dr Salzer's clients say she is warm, empathic, collaborative and makes them feel heard and cared about. But most importantly they know they are in good hands and that helps is on the way. We use an integrated approach incorporating several modalities of psychotherapy +/- evidence based psychopharmacology. Our clients enjoy an active interactive approach. Goals are identified. Teaching occurs. Collaborative decision-making is the norm. Examples are given from the doctors clinical experience of how treatment might feel and what outcomes might be like as they emerge. You will feel like a partner in your own care and like you have a Psychiatrist walking this path with you. Dr Salzer is a Board Certified, Ivy League trained Psychiatrist with 25+ years of clinical experience in treating patients with both Psychotherapy and /or Medication Management. Many of her clients see her for therapy alone and are not treated with medications. This practice treats adults 20-65 years old with diagnoses including Depression, Anxiety, Panic, PTSD, Social Anxiety, Substance Use, Binge Eating Disorder, ADHD, OCD, sleep problems, work/life balance, issues related to corporate life, relationship issues, IVF, Infidelity, non traditional relationships, parenting and LGBTQI related issues. Please note that if you have a diagnosis of Schizophrenia, Bipolar or have frequent/recent Suicidal Ideation this practice is likely not a good fit. Regarding Insurance, this practice is currently only accepting self-pay clients, UnitedHealthcare and Oxford, insurance. For clients with other types of insurance, payment is due at the time of service and we will provide you with a monthly superbill to pursue reimbursement. We look forward to working with you.
