Allyn's Christian Counseling

I'm is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) in the state of Ohio. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Otterbein College. I bring over 20 years of experience in the field working with individuals in a variety of settings. I specialize in helping clients through faith-based journeys to reestablish their sense of self and purpose in this world. Through my Christian background I provide a compassionate, strength-based approach that encompasses the whole individual spiritually and emotionally. I'm friendly, empathetic, and most importantly non-judgmental. I believe in meeting people where they are and working collaboratively to develop a plan to help folks navigate life’s ups and downs. You're the expert in your life. I'll allow you to decide the direction of each session, and I will assign tasks to completed after sessions when appropriate. The goal is to help you become your best self, and have you realize the solutions are within yourself as well.
