I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what you need, and I believe therapy is a space where you can be honest and genuinely yourself. I’ll keep it real while creating a space where we can work toward meaningful change together. My approach is both collaborative, engaging and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, identity development and the complexities that can come with living between cultures. I’m particularly interested in helping people make sense of the different identities they carry and find a way to integrate those parts of themselves that may sometimes feel conflicting.
As the daughter of mixed-race Yemeni immigrants, a mother to a mixed-race child, and someone in a mixed-race partnership myself, I understand that identity and culture can be deeply personal and complex. My own experiences have shaped the way I approach this work.
