My visit was excellent. Dr Balashova-Shamis is very professional, empathic and helpful. She had superb "bed side manner" that put me at ease very quickly. Her kindness and caring manner was very comforting and it was easy to open up to her about some difficult situations I was dealing with. I was especially impressed by her knowledge of human behavior and her ability to go to the core of the issues that I was struggling with. I felt like I had known her for years and she was able to look clearly at my problems and help me find a path. There was no sense of her being judgmental -- it was all very supportive, positive, but clear headed and straight forward at the same time. All in all, it was an excellent visit and I felt much better after talking to her.
