The first appointment was absolutely lovely and made me feel like I was in good hands. The follow-up appointment was scheduled and Dr. Mekang did not appear. After calling to apologize and reschedule the appointment due to an error in the scheduling system, the rescheduled follow-up was also missed.
This lack of communication was incredibly unprofessional. I am glad I was working on my mental health in other ways in the interim otherwise I worry what two no show appointments could have triggered.

She was very attentive and wanted to take her time when going through my initial evaluation. She didn't want to miss anything important and really cared about me being seen. She was very helpful while also being knowledgeable and clear about what steps I should take after the appointment. Very awesome experience, and I would recommend her to anyone who feels disillusioned with the health care system.

Dr. Mekang was kind patient, and extensively helpful in my search to improve my mental health. She offered a thorough evaluation that was comfortable and understanding!
Not only did she review my situation and medications: she took into account my social and financial stability to provide resources that are promising to further treatment.
