I am a collaborative and interactive therapist that utilizes a variety of psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, EFT, and solution-focused techniques based on the individual client, their wants, needs and goals. My approach emphasizes relationship and rapport building, empathy, and compassion. You are the writer of your own story, but together we can work on developing tools tailored to your specific needs. My background includes working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples from various communities and cultures experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, cancer and chronic illness, PTSD, mood disorders, executive dysfunction, or disruption in family and/or relationship dynamics. As a therapist, my goal for my clients is to assist them in achieving their goals based on the strengths they already possess, building upon those strengths, and creating new ways to adapt to different stressful life events and transitions. I am licensed in both NY and FL.
