Andrea Sioris, LCSW
Are you successful, capable, and outwardly “holding it together,” yet internally feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt and overthinking? Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning adults who grew up in emotionally immature or dysfunctional families and learned early how to perform, achieve, care-take or people-please in order to survive. While these patterns may have helped you cope in the past, they can now show up as chronic anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Using a trauma-informed, relational and attachment-based approach, I work with clients struggling with anxiety, complex trauma (C-PTSD), depression, low self worth and relationship challenges. I also specialize in working with adult children of emotionally immature parents and dysfunctional families.
My education includes an MSW from New York University and extensive post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and in the treatment of childhood trauma for adults. Reach out to me to schedule a free phone consultation today. I look forward to starting this journey together.
