Anew Era Psychiatry offers traditional psychiatric services and the revolutionary treatment technology of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Medication evaluation and maintenance are typically administered by Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners under the direction of our psychiatrists.
We accept most major insurance plans; however, we do not accept any form of Medicaid/Medi-Cal.

After a 40 minute interview in zoom, in which I described my numerous previous bad reactions to certain meds, I was prescribed a 4 day half dose regimen of Seroquel . On the first night, I had a bad experience. I felt the following:
1) Slurred Speech
2) Heavy grogginess
3) Disorientation
4) Panic (similar to the onset of a Panic attack).
5) Lack of muscle control
I am concerned about my diagnosis because after taking this prescribed pill, I feel worse than before, and my sleep pattern was the same. I canceled my appt with the nurse practioner.

This individual's front office workers were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They made snide and caddy commentary about myself and other patients at the front. NP Diya himself was alright, but his other team members were awful and for that I would not go back.
