Dr Lauchangco was great, very polite and personable, listened to my concerns and answered comprehensively.
The only thing I was slightly put off by were the other professionals(?) in the office space. Seemed they were almost there just to hang out, and I was uncomfortable when the doctor asked them to leave the room so I could get my bloodwork done.

I love the doctor but her assistants are incompetent. They have attitude when helping a patient set up online access to their own lab work and then when I went to Dr. Lauchangco and asked she clarified that it was the link that was faulty and she, herself, sent me the correct link to set it up. Repeatedly, they always forget to charge me my co pay fee and then try to bill me later for it. Co pay is taken at the time of visit and not after. It's the law. It's not the patient's job to remind or to insure that it is collected. They have also forgotten to check me in on multiple occasions to the point where I have had to wait 30 mins to get seen. They have also billed me for a service that I supposedly received on 2/1/2018 but I never received service on this date. The last time I was in was on 1/29/2018. I called to talk about it and she put me on hold for 10 mins and never returned and then blocked me from the number. I also emailed them about the issue and had to call the lab that I received the bill from to report the fraud. In the end, it was my insurance company who defended me. The lady that called me back, Judith (or something like that), clearly doesn't want to be in customer service nor did she care about what the facts were. All she wanted to do was fight. She yelled over me without hearing my story. Her english is so so. I cannot understand what she is saying. She needs to learn how to enunciate. She kept trying to defend herself saying that oh you came in on 1/31--okay great. But the bill is for a pap smear, on what date did I come in for that? The service date is the date the patient receives the benefit, not when the pharma company or the MD decides to pick it up or send it in. It's the law. Cigna is the best, they know the rules and they actually check the facts before rebutting and are not afraid to go to bat for their customers when something looks sketchy. You can see what a hot mess the office is, just go in and look at all the papers sticking out everywhere. The guy that will be drawing your blood won't even look at you. It's the weirdest place. I understand that things take a long time to process. But it's been 8 months since my last visit that was completely routine. This has been a 2-3 year journey with this place. Why did it take me so long to leave and why did I put up with it? Because it was right next door to my work and I work for a fund so I am lazy when it comes to self care. But all of us deserve great care. Sometimes it takes a while for us to remember that and that we don't have to take it. I do not recommend this place. AVOID if possible. There are so many doctors!
