Anna Dec Mental Health Counseling PLLC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. I also hold a master's degree in psychology from Poland. I have years of experience working with adults who experience difficulties in the area of mental health, relationships, and addiction, by providing individual and group therapy. I specialize in Anxiety and Panic Disorders, PTSD, and trauma-focused therapy. I am trained in EMDR.
I offer telehealth sessions in English and Polish.
I use an integrated approach that blends psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered therapies. My therapeutic style is warm, caring, supportive, and respectful.
Life can be stressful, challenging, and overwhelming at times. You may feel sad, depressed, anxious, and worried. Coping with these uncomfortable feelings and emotions can often be difficult. 'All the world is full of suffering; it is also full of overcoming,' said American author Helen Keller. I strongly believe that you have the strength within yourself to overcome any obstacles that life brings with my therapeutic assistance and guidance. I will create a safe, warm and empathetic environment that will enhance progress toward your goals, support personal growth and encourage positive change.
I recognize it takes courage to ask for help and begin therapy and I have tremendous respect for anyone willing to do so. We will begin sessions by exploring what led you to therapy and the goals you wish to accomplish.
I will assist you during this therapeutic journey so you can explore and process emotions/feelings, and develop ways of dealing with any struggles that you might have so you can begin living a happy and fulfilling life.
I accept the following insurance: Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, UHC, Oscar, Oxford, BCBS of Massachusetts, Quest Behavioral Health and Carelon Behavioral Health. Out of packet cost is 150 $ per 60 min. session.

Anna is a fantastic therapist, and I would highly recommend her. I've been seeing her for around 4 years, and she has supported me in many big life changes and also helped me process traumas from the past. I've done a lot of EMDR with her, which I also recommend and she has been a wonderful and warm guide who has helped me gain important insights from this interesting treatment. She is also great at inviting feedback and creating a safe place for healing. She has really helped me be more compassionate with myself.
