It was a great experience! Everyone I worked with including Maria, Kelly, the nurse practitioner and the nurses assistant were fantastic! I was highly anxious prior to my appointment and the nurse practitioner laid out exactly what was to come and provided me with much needed context regarding my condition. She was a great listener and answered every question I had. I now understand the process and have significant peace of mind. The nurse practitioner then guided me to Kelly to get my upcoming procedures scheduled. Kelly worked with me and advocated for me to get procedures scheduled in a timely manner. She used her knowledge and experience to come up with a plan B just in case. While I was speaking with Kelly both Maria and the nurse practitioner were in the room coming up with a schedule and communication plan to insure that my overall scheduling experience would proceed smoothly. I truly appreciated that and was highly impressed with their office continuity and commitment to me.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. Dr. Akram took my concerns seriously and scheduled all the testing that he thought would help him figure out what my condition could be. I drove an hour to this appointment and it was well worth it.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and informative staff. I truly felt heard… starting with the receptionist, Maria, to Nurse Margarita, and especially Dr. Akram. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel at ease throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend Dr. Akram and his team to anyone currently dealing with heart issues or simply looking to assess their heart health
