For over 10 years, I never had a positive experience with physical therapy. Most treatments felt outdated, cookie cutter, and ultimately like a waste of time. That completely changed after one session with Dr. Baron Kim at Apex Physical Therapy and Performance Center. I'm a bodybuilder and a 4 handicap golfer, and I take recovery as seriously as training and practice. Dr. Kim took the time to understand my goals, my training, and what I wanted from treatment: recover faster and perform better. I came in with a lower lat strain, and after deep tissue/tendon work and shockwave therapy, the relief was nearly immediate. By the next day, despite some soreness from treatment, the actual pain was drastically reduced and nearly gone. I was so impressed that I returned two days later. After 10+ years of skepticism, Dr. Kim completely changed my perspective on PT. Apex is now part of my weekly non negotiable recovery routine. I cannot recommend Dr. Kim and Apex highly enough.
