I was very pleased with my first appt with Dr. Schmalhaus, he was a good listener and treated my foot conditions with respect and a gentle hand. The office staff were excellent, the woman at the front desk was patient, calmly juggling a few things at once while also being friendly. The Medical Assistant who took my X-ray was skilled and friendly, too. Overall, I am very pleased that I chose this office for my Podiatric needs. I will be encouraging my husband to go to this office too.

Other doctor I went to refused to see me because I didn’t have x rays. Dr G saw me immediately and had an ultrasound ready to check out my issues and we came up with a plan of attack. Thank you!

The office itself (Newport) a little hard to find. You have to disregard the #'s on the doors and just go right to the end of the hall.

I was warmly greeted by a member of Dr. Goddard's staff and led to an examining room. The wait time to see Dr. Goddard was very short and he was welcoming and concerned about the reason for my visit. Dr. Goddard listened as much as he advised so I felt part of the solution. I clearly understood the reason for the next steps and that they are achievable. I feel well partnered in my ongoing foot health and will not hesitate to return in the future with questions or concerns.

Dr. Goddard was highly professional in his approach to my issue. I was expecting to have a cortisone shot between the toes (which is what my previous provider would have done.) After his thorough examination he opted for a different, more holistic approach. It feels totally right. I have a follow-up appointment in two weeks, and we'll see how things go. I'm truly delighted with the outcome of my visit.

Dr. Meyers is the best doctor !!! He is so on the same level as his patients and understand and his patients pains level and take the time deal with his patients need and he is very personal with his patients!!! Some how we discover we bother have the same both birthday because something come up about a surgery that I was have with one of his other doctor in the office and I say it on the Dec 18 he like you have surgery on bday and that my bday too and I am like that is a small world !!! He is so down to earth !!! He is great doctor !!!

Although my HMO provided me a referral to this office, this doctor did not accept my insurance which I learned after arrival. I was squeezed in, after a very long wait with a different doctor. Office was crowded, would not recommend if you have better options.
