Welcome! I’m Anna Stouffer, APRN— dual-board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 17 years of clinical experience, I am passionate about helping individuals find stability, healing, and wholeness in their mental health journey.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, graduating cum laude, and continued there to earn my Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I later completed my Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at Florida State University. My clinical background includes work in diverse settings such as primary care, neurosurgery, and acute psychiatric care, giving me a well-rounded perspective on supporting both the physical and emotional well-being of my patients.
Creating a space where patients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported is important to me. Too often, mental health care can feel cold and clinical. I aim to change that by building authentic relationships, providing personalized care, and approaching each individual with respect.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing is always possible. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to develop meaningful strategies and restore balance to your life.

Anna is a very intentional and active listener. I had never been in any kind of therapy before. I felt comfortable explaining the entirety of a difficult, potentially life changing situation I am going through. She never made me feel rushed or judged. Great first visit with Dr. Saylor. He gave me plenty of time to explain my health history and listen to all of my concerns. He reviewed my blood work and physical areas of concern, provided his feedback, and we came up with a sensible plan for monitoring and follow up as needed.
This is a newer practice and it was clean and efficient. The entire staff was friendly. Overall a very positive experience and I would be happy to see Dr. Saylor again. Thanks!
