Asha Medical Clinic
Primary care medicine can be challenging these days nevertheless it is something I truly enjoy. My goal as a doctor is to provide quality medical care to all my patients. I believe in educating patients about their health, presenting them with options to improve their health and tailoring treatment plans according to their needs. I tend to be thorough and cautious in my practice style. I generally develop a good rapport with my patients and thus am not afraid to use a little tough love when necessary. And most importantly, as all good primary care physicians, I know to consult with a specialist when a patient's health requires care outside my realm of expertise.

I came in just for blood work. Then I typically will get called in for a follow up appointment The fact that the option to have blood work done at the doc office instead of having to go to a lab is so convenient. The is practically no wait, which is super important when you are fasting. They have great early morning hours that fits into my schedule to be on work with no worries.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Thomas. In fact, I've been doing just that. I have NEVER seen another Dr who shows such genuine care, concern and respect for her patient. She is patient, considerate, knowledgeable and her bedside manner is unmatched. There was never more than a 5 minute wait in her office and her staff are all professional and courteous. I would NEVER use another Primary care Dr as long as she is practicing, even if I have to pay out pocket. I feel confident placing my health in her capable hands.

I read her reviews and figured she would at very minimum have good bedside manner. To my surprise my experience was much more than that! The staff were very nice and helpful. My visit with Dr.Thomas was awesome... she definitely takes her time and speaks to you like a person not "just another patient". I shared my concerns and she gave me great advice. Finally found my new primary doctor!

She is a good doctor but I think they protest too much for you to come in frequently for testing and also to come in for the results to routine bloodwork just to get another copay and office visit billed.

I have never been so calm upon meeting a physician for the first time. Dr Thomas was thorough, did not make me feel as though she was rushing me to get to the next patient, and her bedside manner was impeccable. Her staff was professional and very pleasant. On the two occasions that I needed to be connected for referrals, etc., the calls made to me were professional and the information was very concise. I will be seeing Dr. Thomas soon for my follow-up. I feel very confident that I have a doctor with whom I will remain

Dr.Thomas is such a wonderful physician. She really took the time to sit down and explain all of her findings with me. I have been to many doctors that will just rush in and out of the room before you even have enough time to ask a question. Dr Thomas is excellent. Her office staff on the other hand - horrible! First I was told my appt time wasn't available & I had to reschedule. Then I received another phone call asking me if I wanted labs done. I said no. Then another phone call the morning of my appt to ask me again if I wanted labs done. I said if needed, ok. Then I'm asked if I have fasted! Duh...why would I be fasting if I wasn't scheduled for tests? Then The receptionist wants to know what I'm seeing the doctor for. That's none of her business! So 4 phone calls for one appt is too many.. I'll find another doctor with a better staff. Appt with this doctor has been cancelled.

Dr. Thomas impressed as competent, completely professional, reviewing every detail of my concerns (and I had several), and responding in a highly professional manner that let me know she knows what she is doing and she is good at what she does. She is also highly organized. Her office staff was friendly, helpful and professional. This visit was an extremely positive experience from the time I set the appointment to the moment I said goodbye.

It was a really pleasant experience. , and I don't like going to Dr's! Dr Thomas is very nice, and it seemed that she was willing to answer questions/explain things, which is very very important, to me. (it's MY body, right.) It didn't feel like I went to an assembly line factory either, which, unfortunately, I've experienced in the past. She made me feel that she really wanted to help me. I have a follow up visit so, we'll see what happens. Hopefully, she can help me and/or without having to send me to the poorhouse, as we have no insurance. Everyone working there was nice as well.
