Aurum Haven Medical

Aurum Haven Medical is a direct care internal medicine practice in West Hollywood. Just me, working directly with adult trans and gender-diverse patients on hormone therapy and longitudinal care. No insurance — by choice, and not as a luxury model. As a continuity model. Direct care means you have an HRT/GAHT physician who doesn't change when your job or insurance does. I see fewer patients so I can follow each one more closely, over time, with more intention. Here's what that looks like in practice: a space that takes gender-affirming care seriously without feeling overly clinical. Coordinated lines to your surgical and mental health team, so communication happens between visits rather than falling through the cracks. Appointments where you don't have to triage your own concerns — the time is built in. Responses by next business day. And on my end, the margin to think carefully, follow up thoroughly, and stay present in this work. That's what this model is designed to protect — for both of us. I initially trained in Kentucky under one of the only GAHT providers for 3.5 million people. Researched the metabolic safety of hormone therapy. Have worked with over 1,000 transgender and gender-diverse people. Before opening AHM, I helped expand GAHT-competent primary care at UCLA Health. This practice grew out of all of that — and out of a belief that there's room to do this work with more time, more continuity, and more intention. That's the structure here: Aurum Direct Care, billed quarterly at $450 with no per-visit fees. New patients start with a $350 initial consultation. If you decide to enroll in Aurum Direct Care within 7 days, that fee applies in full toward your first quarter — so continuing care runs $100 more for that first three months. If you're not ready after one visit, that's fine. The consultation stands on its own.
