Tristan Hartman is one of the best psychiatrists I've seen, and I've been to about 5 in the last few years. He genuinely listens to your concerns, history, and other than asking the questions he needs to for charting, he seems to actually put thought and care into his responses and the questions he asks. This may be the first mental health provider that I've seen where my follow-up appointments are longer than 5 minutes and do more than a simple "how's it going". I highly, highly recommend Tristan!

My overall experience was really great from booking my appointment to setting up my insurance. He was right on time to meet with me and we did the entire full hour and a half. He asked me all the questions you’re supposed to ask for my type of visit which was for ADHD. We talked about my experiences are the child and how my symptoms are affecting me as an adult. together, we were able to come up with a plan of medications for me to start. my medication’s were called in that same day. I will be back in a month and see how things are going. It was very easy and painless experience. I was nervous, but it went great. It was much easier I think than going to an office having to sit down with someone and all that. This was so much easier and I was able to do this on my lunch break. I look forward to working with him in the future..

I've had an exceptional experience with this psychiatric nurse practitioner. As my first male mental health provider, he has exceeded all expectations with his professional yet approachable demeanor. His active listening skills are outstanding - he gives full attention during our sessions and makes me feel truly heard and understood.
The level of comfort I feel during our appointments is remarkable. He creates a safe, judgment-free environment where I can openly discuss my concerns and treatment goals. His expertise in medication management is evident, and he takes the time to explain everything thoroughly.
The office staff deserves recognition as well. Their responsiveness is impressive - you can always reach someone by phone, which is crucial for mental health care. The entire team maintains a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Office on the other hand.... I feel like they over charge so much and can't explain the charges.
If I'm using a in network provider, shouldn't I only pay my copay? Will definitely be reaching out to my insurance company before I return.

Tristan Hartman was amazing, I walked in feeling welcomed and heard, I easily got into a feeling of a safe environment and can feel like I can express my worries and symptoms without any issues. Amazing doctor that went over everything with me clearly, He even wrote out and recommended me supplements to help with other things I've been having issues with and to curb the side effects from my medication which has been a huge help! I absolutely loved my visit with Hartman. I was nervous & hesitant at first with this being my first psychiatrist appointment but he welcomed me with a comforting and open presence. He listened to all of my struggles with anxiety, got a background of my history, and came up with a plan to combat my anxiety. He reassured me in the treatment process he planned and medications I was going to take, making sure to answer all questions and fears I had. He made me feel completely heard and validated and took a huge weight of my shoulders knowing I could get the help I needed. He was extremely patient and funny and a great visit. I recommend.

I scheduled this visit simply to continue prescriptions I got while living in another state, but I walked away with dosages adjusted to fit my needs and a solid plan moving forward. Everyone is so kind from the receptionist to my doctor. My first visit, he listened and asked corresponding questions so I knew he was paying attention. I unloaded plenty on my first visit but Tristan was very patient and easy to communicate with.
