Dr. Dort was very kind, friendly and had good bedside manners. However, he is very old school.

Dr. Dorf is an outstanding "old time professional." He takes time, not rushed to deal with each of his patients. He is very knowledgeable and current. He cares! I highly recommend him not only for gastro but for a gp. Outstanding. Ed

I am very satisfied with my experience.

Visit started with him asking me why out of all the doctors on Zoc Doc I chose him? What neighborhood I live in, and why am I coming “all this way” to see him? I am literally traveling fifteen minutes to his office? Inappropriate questions such as the origin of my Sir name. And “where are your people from?”then commenting incorrectly, where he thought “they came up from” I had already paid my co pay and needed a script because I was in pain. I endured it. When I called four days later for my blood results (albeit I was asked to call in three days), the receptionist was rude and condescending. She said curtly, “that’s not how we do things here” I’m not sure if he’s a good doctor or not. But my experience and in my opinion, he clearly does not want to treat patients who look like me.
Dr Dorf is your old fashioned kind of doctor who can read a report and do some examining and come to a conclusion about your problem. This is the kind of doctor that I like. He doesn't depend on some computer program or chart with other doctors notes. He is very knowledgeable, and was able to read my reports and come to a conclusion almost immediately. I would highly recommend Dr Dorf for any of your gastrointestinal issues.
