this is my first time in therapy and it is amazing, Dr Barsa is super welcoming, kind, honest and understanding. He has all the traits and skills of a real psychiatrist. Dr. Barsa is by far the best Psychiatrist I have ever been to. I have struggled with many issues for many years and have seen a variety of different psychiatrists. Dr. Barsa is very patient, calm and kind and actually explains everything in great detail. He goes above and beyond to understand your situation and takes his time to listen, give advice and help you understand why you are feeling the way you feel. I have only been seeing Dr. Barsa for the past 2 months, and what he has helped me accomplish so far, no other psychiatrist was able to do over several years. Also with every other psychiatrist, I always felt as if I was being rushed so that they could meet their next appointment time. Dr. Barsa takes his time with you and makes you feel like you are his most important patient every time. Every aspect of my life has been improved since beginning my appointments with Dr. Barsa. He is by far the absolute best and I will never be able to thank him enough. I am very grateful.

Dr. Barsa is a great listener, is very patient, and extremely knowledgeable at his profession. Was skeptical at first but after searching for several weeks, I decided on giving him a try. So glad I did. He schedules you for double back to back appointments to make sure he can thoroughly understand your viewpoints. Doesn’t rely on medications unless you want to. Very thorough and a great person to chat with.

Terrific guy, collaborative, open minded and personable. He's a bit too jolly for my taste and as a physician I usually expect my psychiatrist to not be so off the cuff w/ levity or smiling a lot. Otherwise he is a great choice for someone who enjoys a collaborative type psychiatrist relationship. He is very caring and knows his stuff.
