Through the zocdoc there wasn't any spot to mention what was wrong with me. So my primary called and asked me, and he gave me an earlier date.
I spoke about my injury and what happened it sounded like she just wanted to get through with the appt.

I felt like a number, not a patient. When the medical office called, they informed me Dr. Barnes only had five minutes for my appointment. This led to a rushed experience where I couldn’t discuss all my concerns. Unfortunately, the doctor didn’t seem very caring and was clearly pressured by the time constraint, reducing the visit to just a few hurried minutes. It was disappointing not to receive the time and attention needed for a thorough, thoughtful consultation.

Dr. Barnes and her nurse (who’s name I forgot) were so kind to me. I was so nervous about this appointment and I have high anxiety in doctor’s offices. They eased my worries while also being straight forward with any concerns I had. Their patients were just incredible and I am so glad I finally got my physical!

It was a good experience, I arrived 5 minutes late and owned up to it. The front desk was not pleased and made me uncomfortable about my delay which added to my anxiety. The rest of the staff was nice and understanding. Doctor was very sweet and let me talk through my anxiousness to be there. Listened and provided good direction for next steps.

Everyone was very friendly, safe and professional. I was concerned about potential Covid exposure issues but once on site at the office I was completely reassured that their was nothing to worry about. All appropriate precautions were implemented.
