BestLife Family Medicine is a comprehensive family-centered private practice in Anthem AZ. As of February 2023, we now accept many insurance plans and can bill without a membership at BestLife. Call to double check as all plans are not listed in the ZocDoc profile. Dr. Maplethorpe is traditionally trained in Family Medicine and cares for patients of all ages Newborn to Geriatric, she specializes in Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
As a Lifestyle Medicine clinic we offer memberships to cover many Wellness services including Unlimited Primary Care, access to the Fitness Studio, Massage and Relaxtion Room, and Culinary Medicine Kitchen. As a Direct Primary Care clinic we offer members discounts on supplements, medications, imaging, and lab work. Members can also take advantage of our intensive Lifestyle Plan to reduce weight, reverse chronic conditions and in many cases de-prescribe your medications. Access to our Certified Health Coach is also included with a Lifestyle Membership. In most cases these discounts more than pay for the membership itself. Most of our members also carry traditional insurance. I've been waiting for over a week to receive her referrals for tests she would like for me to do. I have called and used their Spruce to communicate, but there no response. It is unprofessional to leave a patient. In limbo with no answer. I'm disappointed in her lack of medical attention.

They rescheduled my appointment because they double booked me, so I had to check with my manager if I could go to lunch later. and then had the audacity to show up 28 minutes late to the appointment after I had told them that I would be at my lunch break.

I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive and kind Dr. Samantha was. I switched PCPs after my visit with her and I am no longer scared of returning to see my family Dr. The clinic is beautiful and well located. I recommend her services.

Dr Maplethorpe is always a treat to see. Since she does see a wide range of ages, the waiting room can get backed up. The only downside would be her schedule continuing to shrink. It's so difficult to make an appointment anymore.

My family have been patients with this practice for many years only because we really like Dr Farrell and Dr Maplethorpe. The problem is the wait time. It is always around an hour and occasionally 11/2. This is in my view is very unsatisfactory as I normally have to take time off work and always make a point of getting there on time.

Dr. Maplethorpe delivered my 3rd son four years ago - she was impeccable with both the treatment and care for me and my son. I have now moved all of my families health care to Dr's at Lakeside Family Physicians - Dr. Maplethorpe, Dr. Olsen, and Dr. Farrell are an awesome medical team, and we're so lucky to have them taking care of us. Just moved to WA from NY and needed all new doctors. I love that Dr Maplethorpe touches upon a number of things. I feel like she understands the entire picture and put the puzzle pieces together. Her bedside manner is top notch. I did have to wait about an hour my last visit, but she was out for a week and catching up on appointments. My previous three were very quick in terms of waiting time. Very pleased!

Dr. Maplethorpe has been my doctor for the last seven years and I just adore her. She has delivered my two daughters and is about to deliver our third baby. She is kind and respectful and makes you feel comfortable always.

She was okay, nothing spectacular. She was very blase about issues I brought up and more or less just blew off some of my concerns and medical issues I specifically wanted to discuss with her. She was very friendly and nice, but as far as a healthcare professional I wouldn't go back for any future visits.
