Dr. Doug Lightstone in private practice in North Georgia. Dr. Lightstone has advanced training in spinal biomechanics and the evaluation and treatment of abnormal spinal posture, scoliosis and spine deformity, trauma, whiplash, functional movement, and sports health sciences.
Dr. Lightstone has earned advanced certification in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®). Since 1980, CBP® has developed the most advanced chiropractic technique for conservative, non-surgical spinal correction and rehabilitation backed by the most extensive amount of quality scientific peer-reviewed research supporting reliable chiropractic care.
Dr. Lightstone is also a certified ScoliBrace® provider offering advanced, non-surgical, spinal corrective bracing options for all ages.
Dr. Lightstone received training at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD) in the most in-depth, science-based training available to date on whiplash and physical trauma diagnosis, treatment, and management.
Dr. Lightstone presents about chiropractic, spinal rehabilitation, diagnostic methods, and his published research and research projects at various seminars and speaking engagements.
Dr. Lightstone's patient care and research focuses on rehabilitation and health maintenance of the spine to find and correct the link between abnormal spinal alignment and the onset of disease and dysfunction. Dr. Lightstone serves on peer review panels for research journals. His work on spinal biomechanics, physiology, and the health impacts of spinal rehabilitation is published in various peer-reviewed research journals, indexed in PubMed of the National Institute of Health, and he collaborates in research projects with prestigious institutions such as Emory University.

Dr Lightstone is great! Listened carefully to my concerns, took a very detailed history, and scheduled a follow up a few days later to allow him to analyze my case and develop an appropriate treatment plan. He's very friendly and personable.

Had the best experience. The doc listened to my complicated history and outlined his process for evaluation. I made an appointment to come back for evaluation and look forward to what he can do to assist with my issues. So far I highly recommend.

Great experience for first time visit ever. Process was great, very thorough. Very specific with the questions and knowing your full medical history. I am pleasantly impressed. Hoping to get relief soon.
Only caution: If you have insurance benefits, just know what is covered.

My doctor was kind and a great listener. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and made light humor throughout to keep the atmosphere calm. He took the time to really find out a good plan for me personally and went the extra mile in any way he could. I couldn't recommend this establishment enough.

We went for an appointment for my son who has scoliosis, we live in Alabama (South) and we decided to go with him since a another chiropractor recommended, the Dr's options were very drastic, apart from that he proposed a brace that is not suitable for my son, all the time he tried to make it difficult for us to do the treatment with him making the situation awkward. Regarding our insurance, it would not cover much of the treatment and we would even have to pay for the brace (price almost doble than in another places and the insurance would not pay for it and for him it was not his business) to send it to be done. In conclusion, he told us that he would call us back to follow up after an x-ray that he did and to start the treatment. HE JUST NEVER CALL, 2 months have passed, which for scoliosis in an adolescent is crucial.

I have been using chiropractic for over 30 years. I have been treated by some good docs and a few average or less. Dr. Lightstone is in a league of his own. He listened carefully to my issues, took detailed X-rays, did strength and range of motion tests, and asked a large number of illuminating questions, and is providing a treatment plan I feel very confident in.
