The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Boston Medical Center provides care for patients with problems involving the ears, sinuses, oral cavity, nose, throat, neck (ENT) including sinus conditions, allergy, sleep disorders and snoring. We also specialize in swallowing disorders, voice problems, dizziness and balance disorders, and hearing loss, cancers of the head and neck and our division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers cosmetic surgery and management of facial deformities and facial fractures.

I’d like to use this MD for everything! He’s professional yet approachable and friendly. After his NP quickly gathered my applicable health history, she spoke with the MD and moved me to an another exam room with the nasal endoscope needed for further assessment. After seeing the results of the scope, the MD met with me, answered my questions concerning next steps/treatment/surgery and he ordered a ct scan (which I was able to get later the same day. He has an outstanding support staff!). My follow up appt was scheduled less than 3 weeks after my initial visit. I traveled 2 hours each way to see him (and will again for follow up appt) and it well worth it!

Dr. Devaiah is a great doctor. His diagnosis is very accurate. His junior was also great and knows her staff. I felt I was treated correctly and I am already feeling good for the problem I went to see Dr. Devaiah.

Dr. Devaiah was extremely helpful and friendly and I didn't feel rushed. He did a thorough examination and made sure all my concerns were attended to. One of the better and kinder doctors I've encountered in a long time! The wait time was likely because of this—as he said, he never tells a patient he needs to leave. He wants to hear them out—this feels so rare, I don't know that the wait was a terrible thing, considering.

Dr Deviah did very successful surgery on my ear and all was great after the surgery. He was very caring,friendly and made me feel safer and in good hands.
Pretty long years later depending my arthritis and age,I have started to feel I might have hearing loss on my other ear and decided to get appointment from him. He welcomed me as meeting an old friend. Also all the stuff was great too. Highly recommend.

Dr. Devaiah was one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met. I saw Dr. Devaiah because I was seeking a second opinion for a rare ear condition and his bedside manner is unmatched. He explained things very clearly, answered every question I had without making me feel rushed and offered to keep and open door should I need to see him in the future. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate his kindness and willingness to explore alternative treatments with me. I can’t say enough positive things about this doctor.

I cannot fully express how displeased I am with Dr. Devaiah and BMC. I had a 15 minute virtual consultation with Dr. Devaiah, for which I was charged an exorbitant amount. It will not let me type the actual amount I was charged as "the reveiw will get rejected if i do", but I was charged for the use of a full room for a half hour (longer than our call even was) because Dr. Devaiah had to sit somewhere to conduct our video consultation, so I was charged in full for the room he sat in. That is patently absurd and Im in the process of disputing it, but please just be warned.
