I am a board certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. I have over 15 years of experience in mental health, as well as a background in neurology. While working in community mental health, I recognized the need for alternative treatment options for individuals struggling with mental illness and substance abuse. I am able to provide medication management services as well as provide recommendations for healthy lifestyle choices, such as nutrition and exercise.My approach to providing care is holistic, encompassing mind, body and spirit. I incorporate meditation, brief psychotherapy, exercise, hormone optimization and nutrition into my practice. As well, my background in neurology and board certification as an FNP, enables me to understand my clients on an even deeper level.Clients can expect to take away a sense of peace and empowerment, knowing they have someone to walk with them on their journey. Treatment, including medication management, will be tailored to every client depending on their specific needs.
