Boston Eye Physicians & Surgeons is a medical and surgical ophthalmology practice that has served patients in New England and around the world for nearly 75 years. We have been a destination for patients seeking high quality medical and surgical eye care from a team composed of the area's leading ophthalmic physicians and surgeons. As skilled eye physicians and surgeons, we have dedicated our careers to providing rewarding patient care in a safe, comfortable environment using state of the art medical and surgical equipment. We encourage Boston and surrounding area cataract, LASIK, Intra-Ocular Contact Lens Insertion (ICL),corneal, glaucoma, retinal patients to schedule an appointment. In addition to ophthalmic surgeries, we also offer a full range of general eye exams.

As a medical and surgical practice, Boston Eye Physicians and Surgeons accepts all medical insurances. However, Boston Eye Physicians and Surgeons DOES NOT ACCEPT VISION PLANS.
The best parking is at One Brookline Place Garage which is across the street from us with near 700 park spots and 2 min walk to us.
We have a small onsite paid parking garage but it is usually full.
There are also some free 2-hour parking on Pond Ave, a side street adjacent to our building
We are within 5 minutes of walk to the MBTA’s Riverside (Green D) at Brookline Village T-stop, or Heath Street Line (Green E) at Riverway T-stop. We are also on the 65 and 66 MBTA bus routes.

I have been seeing this provider for awhile now and he is great. He is always on time, great bedside manner, and always helpful with any concerns I may have. Staff is very nice. Office is being remodeled, but still clean and acceptable to see patients.

Great experience provided by my doctor and his staff. However not pleased with zocdoc endless emails, text messages. I have approximately 75-100 various vendors who do similar constant emails and text messages. Do you have any idea how much time these emails/text messages consume?

This was the first tiem i saw Dr Schwartz, although I have been coming to this practice for many years. He has an excellent understanding of dry eyes, how how it might be affecting my site and new ideas as to how to treat it. Dr Schwartz also took the time to read my file and listen to new symptoms. I was most impressed.

Have been a patient of the practice since the 1980s and of Dr Schwartz for the past year. The office staff performance has often left much to be desired. The physicians have always been first-rate and that characterization includes Dr. Schwartz, who has been my ophthalmologist for the past year. He’s highly competent, warm, and easily approachable.
