I felt incredibly disrespected by Dr. Oza. I have Google documents going back to birth with my medical history on it since myself and my family have had many medical issues but neither the doctor nor the assistant who took my history seemed interested, only asking the questions that checked the boxes. When discussing my insomnia, he made very dismissive generalizing statements which left me feeling unheard. When I said I already had an appointment with a specialist, he said he wished I hadn't because he wanted to run some tests first, even though I made that appointment over a year ago because of long wait times. I was interrupted and talked over multiple times during the visit which left a terrible impression for a new GP. I went to Dr. Oza because it's conveniently in the same office as my other doctors, but I was not treated nearly as well as the other staff treat me. I have been in my body for over 30 years, they've known me 15 minutes, I'd like a doctor to listen first for once.
