Dr. Deister specializes in metabolic and nutritional psychiatry for all ages with timely appointment availability and individualized care. The two-hour evaluation session allows time to establish the initial correct diagnosis. Through your work together, Dr. Deister gets a full picture of your life and how best to help you and your family achieve your goals. She emphasizes non-medication approaches as the most sustainable path to health, though medications may be prescribed with careful attention to preventing or eliminating side effects while obtaining full benefits. Clients are offered nutritional treatment guided by laboratory testing for a personalized plan. Lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, social life, spirituality or religion, family relationship quality, and school or occupational functioning are some of the areas typically explored on your journey to health. Individual or family therapy is frequently a component of treatment; Dr. Deister may provide therapy, offer a referral, or coordinate care with your current therapist. Sign up for a free 15 min video intake call. New patient visits are 2 hours for $1000, and follow up visits are 1 hour for $500 or 30 min for $300. Sliding scale is available. Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement are provided.
