My philosophy when caring for patient is to treat clients with integrity, honesty and respect. My goal is to provide compassionate and nonjudgement care to all patients. During the interview I will listen, assess provide psychotherapy and medications management to each individual. The interview can last anywhere from 1 hour for a new admission to 30 mins for a follow up. The client is encouraged to ask question and engage during the interview.

I’ve been seeing Shawn for a few months now, and he’s honestly one of the best mental health providers I’ve ever met. He really listens, takes his time, and makes you feel comfortable opening up. You never feel rushed or judged.
He explains things clearly and works with you to find what’s best not just handing out medication and sending you on your way. You can tell he genuinely cares and wants to help his patients feel better long-term.
I always leave my appointments feeling heard and supported. I’m really grateful to have found him.

Great at explaining the bigger picture to what medications can do to your body. As well as you could tell that he takes much pride in the work that he does and the care he has for his patients is not the same as most psychiatric practitioners I have been to previously.
