Bridget Locke, LCSW

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and substance use, and with families who are affected, offering practical support to help you move forward with more stability and confidence. My practice is centered on creating a space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely understood. Many people I work with feel stuck in patterns that are difficult to change, even when they are doing their best to manage on their own. Therapy can help you gain clarity, direction, and more effective ways of coping. I take a practical, collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to your specific needs and goals. I use evidence-based methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology to help you understand what’s contributing to current challenges and build tools you can use in daily life. Our work may focus on improving coping skills, setting boundaries, increasing confidence, and shifting unhelpful thought patterns. For substance use, I incorporate relapse prevention, identify triggers, and help you build a realistic plan for long-term stability. I also support family members navigating how to help a loved one while maintaining their own well-being. Clients often describe sessions as supportive, grounded, and productive; offering both space to process and clear strategies to move forward. Many begin to notice meaningful shifts within the first several weeks.
