I travel from out of state for my services with Dr. Newsome. Dr. Newsome is. kind and she listens to you when I’m inquiring about what’s going on physically. Dr. Newsome staff is very attentive when you first walk into the office. I would recommend Dr. Newsome for any OBGYN consultation and physical.

I scheduled my appointment through ZocDoc and had mixed feelings about the visit. Unfortunately, the front-desk experience was not great. The receptionist was chewing gum loudly throughout our interaction, my insurance information had not been pulled from ZocDoc, and the examination room did not appear properly sanitized. Additionally, the medical assistant made a snide comment about me finding the doctor through ZocDoc, which felt unprofessional. That said, Dr. Newsam was excellent and completely changed the experience. She listened carefully, was attentive, compassionate, and took the time to address my concerns thoroughly. I never felt rushed, and she made sure I understood my care plan. Her professionalism and bedside manner truly stood out and are the reason I would consider returning. I hope the office addresses the front-office and clinical support issues, because the quality of care from Dr. Newsam deserves a much stronger overall experience.

Dr Newsam is fantastic. She is kind, intelligent, and forthcoming with information and options. The exam was respectful and pain-free. She is comprehensive and knowledgeable and was very willing to listen to all my health concerns and ideas. I brought some of my own info resources to review and she carefully explained the benefits and limitations of the things I wanted to explore. Her office is well staffed with kind people. I was even able to do the labs I needed onsite.
This was my 2nd visit with Dr. Newsam. She was just as friendly and informative as the first time. She listened to my concerns and addressed them right away. Shes’s a 10!

Dr Newsam is a very intelligent and kind doctor and helped me navigate challenges with an ovarian cyst. However, the wait time at this location every time I've visited is ridiculous. Even when I have been scheduled as one of the first patients in the morning the wait time is more than an hour from my scheduled appointment which is not ideal.
I had the privilege of receiving care from Dr. Newsam and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a Black woman, it’s incredibly important to feel seen, heard, and respected by your healthcare provider, and Dr. Newsam exceeded all expectations in this regard. From the very first visit, the office environment was warm and welcoming, and Dr. Newsam took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and provide thoughtful, culturally sensitive care. Their expertise and compassionate approach made me feel comfortable and supported throughout my entire visit. I truly appreciate the level of care I received and will definitely continue seeking care here for all my gynecological needs. Highly recommend!

I don't really know how to rate this because I never saw a doctor. My appointment was for my first mammogram. I searched on zocdoc for places near me that offered it. This office was listed. I clicked the box on the appointment for mammogram. Everywhere in my appointment it says I was scheduled for a mammogram. Got there, waited for over 30 minutes. Only to find out they don't do mammograms. The staff was nice and clearly felt terrible that no one caught this and let me make this appointment, so I feel bad leaving such a negative review but it was a massive waste of my time. I don't know if this error is on zocdoc or the office, but someone needs to update what they actually offer and not book people for procedures they don't actually do.

Overall Dr. Newsam seems like a sweet lady, however I did not enjoy her bedside manner. She was judgmental of certain medications I was on, that were completely unrelated to what I came in for. As well, she made further judgmental and unnecessary comments about my body parts. Although she does seem like generally a nice person, I would not go back to see her or recommend her.

The Young woman who took my vitals was excellent, but after she was done I continued to wait in the exam room- only to be told that I was to return to the waiting room. The appointment was at 12:45- I left at 1:25 after still not being seen by Dr. As I was leaving- the Dr stepped out into the hallway and simply said “ here I am.” My response was “ here I’m going.” Have never had such an unpleasant experience in all of my years using ZocDoc.
