Dr. Parekh specializes in foot and ankle specific pathology in sports medicine and wound care, particularly diabetic complications. His extensive training and three year residency allows a comprehensive approach, stressing conservative treatment prior to surgical intervention when possible. Dr. Parekh actively teaches residents and students and contributes to journal clubs and academic circles.
Teaching and spending quality time with his patients is one of his trademarks, and he encourages questions at all levels. Computer based video, manual illustration, and evidence based approaches characterize his typical office visit.
