Bucktown Therapy PLLC
As a licensed clinical psychologist, my goal is to create a compassionate and safe space to reflect on and address issues that arise in life. My hope is that through our work, you can develop skills and insight to help you create meaningful change in your life while feeling supported and guided through the process. I take a flexible and compassionate approach to therapy and incorporate effective therapies from frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This means spending some time discovering how our thoughts and behavior can sometimes be unhelpful, and then working to develop strategies that help you lead a meaningful life and work towards your goals of therapy.
I work individually with adults who come to therapy for a wide range of reasons. These might include feeling stuck, work stress, perfectionism, insomnia, depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, overwhelming emotions, and life transitions. I also work with clients who want to use therapy as a time and space to create more positive change, self-reflection and growth, or to develop better coping or mindfulness skills even when things are going well.
